Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

The past few weeks have been difficult ones but I feel it's time to get a quick update out to you all. In the last email I shared with you some of the problems we were having with Denisha's feeding tube. Her tube was replaced a short time ago but she has had periodic episodes of vomiting since. Yesterday (Wednesday 22nd) we had her regular visit with her pediatrician. He was concerned about the position of the tube and sent us to emergency to have it replaced once again.

Normally this is a very quick procedure but because of all the recent episodes of vomiting more needed to be done to ensure the problem was dealt with properly. To make a long story short, after 2 hours they had taken x-rays of her abdomen, replaced the feeding tube and also inserted a gastric tube into her stomach to drain off the accumulated bile.
It was now well into the evening and I was wondering what the doctor's plans were for Denisha and concerned that Cory (who had been waiting patiently in the waiting room while all this happened!) and I still had a long 1 1/2 drive home.

After discussions with the doctor and the social worker it was arranged that a 'worker' would come and spend the night with Denisha so I could take Cory home. We arrived home safely at 11 PM. It had been a long stressful day. I truly hope they will find out what the problem with Denisha is, and that she will be feeling better soon.
Denisha was released from the hospital at noon today (Thursday). She is on antibiotics for a week but is looking so much better then she has for the past few weeks. She does not seem to be in pain like she was and is so calm right now. Please join us in praying for complete healing for this little girl!
Thank you for all your love, support and most of all your prayers. We could not do this without you.
Yes, I had a wonderful visit with family and friends during my two week stay in Manitoba. It was a busy time and yet I was getting lonesome for my children. Glad to be home once again and get into routine of life. Thanks to the many family and friends that made this trip possible and for blessing me in so many ways.
