HIllside Christian Fellowship

We are thrilled watching God Work through our new church plant. We have been open for services for about one month. As you can see, we have given a name to our new church ...
Hillside Christian Fellowship. We are currently holding two services a week. Sunday night study of Genesis and Wednesday night study through the gospel of John.

New Church

Greetings from Belize. We came to Belize three years ago with the intentional idea that pastors and church leaders would welcome our support, encouragement and Bible based mentoring. Many indeed welcomed our vision, but the greater need was with many discouraged men and women who no longer attend church and found their way to our home every week for solid Bible teaching.
There are plenty of churches in Cayo district where we live, but a true ongoing representation of the gospel is virtually absent. This is why several couples in our home fellowship and Bible teaching meetings have urged us to stand in the gap.
In the future we plan to teach the gospel in a way that is relevant and applicable in a place with much more space than our crowded living room. With audacious faith we have rented a 4,000 sq. ft. building to teach His Word to a spiritually starved community.
Our church vision and building is very large, but our monthly lease amount is very small compared to its commercial rental value. We fully expect the enemy to try to stop our Lord's rescue operation, but in the name of our Diving Defender we plan to experience our first service and church dedication in August 2007.
Please join us in prayer this week as we consider the financial challenge associated with making building improvements, securing one hundred or more chairs, covering utility deposits, rent ($500.00 US), and sustained person health and more. The harvest in the Cayo district of Belize is over ripe and He will help us to lovingly, patiently reap precious souls for the Kingdom.
